Risk Management Diagnostic Survey

The RMDS is an on-line Risk Management Diagnostic Survey that measures the behaviours and actions described in the Australia / New Zealand Risk Management Standard (AS/NZS 4360:2004).

This Survey tool focuses on specific risk-related behaviours and actions and has been developed to facilitate discussion about the organisations’ risk management culture, policy, planning and practices. The results of the survey provide a basis for deciding on risk management development projects and continuous improvement processes in organisations.

Costs per survey participant range from $150 per survey participant (up to 50 participants) to $85 per survey participant (for more than 500 survey participants).  Additional fees are charged for Survey Report preparation and feedback sessions.

The RMDS provides a structured assessment of the extent of integration and the consistency of risk management practices across an organisation and across different types of risk. Survey results will be used to identify existing processes and systems that can be improved on and any constraints limiting the introduction or implementation of systematic risk management.

Comprehensive reports are generated from the Survey data, providing organisation profiles as well as Group-, Division- and Team profiles that highlight areas for improvement in the risk management practices of organisations. These profiles provide a basis for discussing risk management practices, prioritising action plans and assist organisations with developing their own approach to and capabilities for managing risks.
